- Any agreements, payments, or disputes between parents/students and tutors are their sole responsibility.
3. User Accounts
- Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate users for misuse or fraudulent activity.
4. Tutor Responsibilities
- Tutors must provide truthful qualifications and background information.
- Tutors must abide by ethical standards for teachers, or as agreed with the parents/students.
- Tutors are highly encouraged to offer free trial classes, to showcase their teaching abilities.
- Tutors are responsible for complying with Malaysian laws and any tax obligations.
- Misrepresentation may result in removal from the platform.
5. Parent/Student Responsibilities
- Parents/students are responsible for selecting and engaging tutors at their own discretion.
- Fees, schedules, and lesson arrangements are to be agreed upon directly with tutors. CariTutor.com does not mediate any arrangements between tutors and parent/students
- CariTutor.com does not guarantee learning outcomes.
6. Payments & Refunds
- If payments are facilitated through the platform, CariTutor.com may charge service or referral fees.
- All payments made to Caritutor.com are for access to potential parent/student leads.
- We do not guarantee that every lead will result in a successful tuition engagement.
- Payments for leads are non-refundable once leads are delivered, except in cases where:
- The lead’s contact details are invalid or non-functional, and
- A refund request is made within 3 working days of receiving the lead.
- Caritutor.com reserves the right to review each request and decide whether a refund, credit, or replacement lead will be provided.
- Refund policies for tuition services are strictly between parent/student and tutor.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
CariTutor.com is not liable for:
- The conduct, actions, or services of tutors or parents/students.
- Any loss, damage, or injury arising from tuition arrangements.
- Service interruptions or technical errors on the website.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CariTutor.com, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the site.
